Probabilmente Olivier è fuggito dagli scantinati di una fabbrica di giocattoli,lo facevano lavorare troppo e si è reinventato artista.

La sua scultura Dark Surrealista se la prende con la tecnologia che pervertisce l'infanzia,attacca la volontà di potenza che vi si cela esimendosi dal riflettere profondamente sul fatto che la tecnologia stessa,la scienza,il progresso se cosi si puo dire fanno parte dei piani della natura,non si puo decontestualizarli.

Che cio possa produrre fasi di abbruttimento non ci piove ma resta che il nostro amico è animato da un che di puritano,di religioso nell'affrontare la questione,quindi in definitiva possiamo trovare affascinanti le sue creazioni,una tecnica invidiabile etc,ma in fondo un punto di vista stantio e polveroso.

are attached to or implanted on their bodies. Some of the attributes on
his creations move so that one day the army of puppets might jump into
action. Since they were all made from recuperated material they are
already considerably battered and therefore show no fear. They would
carry out orders seamlessly when their creator commands them. One
day, somewhere, perhaps. Olivier Pauwels creates fascinating cyberpuppets
that carry the cruelties of former days, today and tomorrow inside them.
His creations have to make spectators think. And yet Olivier Pauwels
is not a doomsayer. He is trying to warn us of what might happen one
