Artist Bio
John Grider is a self taught artist from Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the founding member of Broken Crow. He’s painted murals in Paris, London, Brooklyn, Baltimore, Nashville, Reno, Dallas, Duluth, and his hometown of Minneapolis, amongst other lesser known locations. In 2005, he received an Artist Initiative Grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board in support of his large scale stencils, and things haven’t been the same since. All of these things are dwarfed by the fact that he’s actually a pretty nice guy, has a good moral compass, is head over heels in love with the mother of his sixteen month old daughter, and has good hygiene most of the time.
